What is El Duende?

El Duende is the oldest and largest flamenco association (peña) in Scandinavia. El Duende is a place for experiencing flamenco, not only as an art but also as a way of living. El Duende is located in central Copenhagen.
El Duende is for amateurs and for professionals and also for people who just love flamenco without performing themselves. El Duende attracts all kinds of musicians, dancers and others who enjoy visiting a creative place and listening to live music. El Duende is also a place for meeting new people.

Membership of El Duende – benefits!

El Duende organizes classes in dance, guitar and percussion. Members get a reduction on the fee for all classes during the season and on the occasional workshops with Danish or foreign artists.
El Duende organizes concerts and other flamenco events with Danish or foreign artists every 2-4 weeks. The entrance fee is reduced for members.
Members can also rent our rooms for dance or music rehearsal at low cost.
El Duende publishes a digital magazine minimum 4 times a year. The magazine contains articles, debate, poems, flamenco tips, activity calender etc. Members will also continually be informed about events in the peña and on other flamenco scenes in Scandinavia by e-mail. The language is Danish.
